That’s why we once again placed our trust in PCBWay, who supported us by producing one of the most critical components in our suspension system, the Rockerbase. The Rockerbase is mounted to our carbon fibre monocoque and, together with the bell crank, forms the central linkage element of the suspension. It transmits the hub carrier’s movement to the spring-damper unit and integrates the mounting point for the anti-roll bar – all within a highly compact and mechanically demanding design.
As the structural foundation for the entire rocker mechanism, it must withstand high dynamic loads while maintaining minimal deflection to preserve suspension geometry under all driving conditions. Its positioning is critical for achieving optimal kinematics, packaging efficiency, and weight distribution. Any inaccuracy in this part would directly affect the car’s handling, responsiveness, and overall performance on track.
